In one of our latest customer projects, we were tasked with developing a complete electric drive package – a solution that combines high precision, reliability and energy-efficient operation.
The result was a system consisting of a slew drive from IMO, a gear motor from Rossi S.p.A and a DC motor that we carefully selected to meet the specific requirements of the project.
From component to whole
Each part of the package has a clear role. Slew driven from IMO stands for the rotary movement with high load capacity and accurate positioning. The gear motor from Rossi contributes with robust shifting and stable power transmission, while the DC motor enables smooth control and efficient operation even with varying loads.
When these components are combined, you get a compact, reliable and versatile system that is suitable for several types of industrial applications – for example in automation, lifting systems or machines where precise movements are crucial.
Customized for customer needs
An important part of our work is to create solutions that not only work in theory, but are optimized for the environment in which they will be used. In this case, it was about developing a device that could deliver consistent performance during continuous operation while at the same time being easy to integrate into the customer's existing system.
Through careful dimensioning and close dialogue with both customers and suppliers, we were able to ensure that each component was selected with consideration for both mechanical and electrical requirements.
