MEGIFLEX B – Highly flexible coupling for optimal drive solutions

MEGIFLEX B is a highly flexible torque coupling developed for versatile use in marine and industrial drive systems. Thanks to its modular construction and pressure-loaded rubber elements, it offers a combination of compact design, high flexibility and effective vibration damping. It fills the gap in the VULKAN range between the smaller VULKARDAN E / F and VULASTIK L couplings and provides a perfect solution where maximum elasticity and operational reliability are required.

The elastic rubber element in MEGIFLEX B is designed to withstand high torsional vibrations and shock loads, protecting both the engine and the driven equipment. Its soft, torsionally elastic properties make it ideal for applications such as primary drives, smaller pods, auxiliary systems and PTO/PTI units with attached aggregates.

Flexible versions and customization options

The MEGIFLEX B series is available in 19 sizes with three different rubber hardnesses, making it easy to adapt the coupling to each specific operating situation. It can be supplied as radially demountable or axially mounted version, depending on installation needs. For applications with higher requirements for motion compensation, there is also a double cardan version, which combines high displacement capacity with maintained torsional flexibility.

Its innovative design also includes built-in anti-slip, which contributes to increased safety and longer service life.

With MEGIFLEX B you get a robust, compact and service-friendly coupling that optimizes operation in modern drive systems – whether it's marine installations, industrial engines or power transmission systems with varying loads.
