Wire race bearings

Wire race bearings are a unique construction with ring-shaped raceways made of steel. They are intended for installation directly in the basic structure, which thus replaces the bearing rings in a conventional bearing.

LEL series

Wire race bearings series LEL are available in standard diameters from 200 mm to 1500 mm in increments of 10 mm or 20 mm, but can be manufactured in any diameter up to 1500 mm.

Series LEL is usually mounted without play and the preload can be easily defined at the construction stage.

Material

  • Ball race is called: hardened and tempered chrome-silicon steel
  • Scrolling elements: hardened roller bearing steel
  • Cage: polyamide or thermoplastic polyurethane

Operating temperature:

  • –30 °C to +80 °C, briefly up to +100 °C

Peripheral speed

Max. 5 m/s, without seals max. 10 m/s

Lubricant

Klüber Isoflex Topas NCA52 (recommended)

LER series

Franke wire ball bearings series LER Are designed for medium-high demands on rotation speed and accuracy.

The running wires are hardened and provided with two perpendicular sides for easy integration into the construction.

Threaded ball bearings series LER are available in standard diameters from 80 mm to 1800 mm depending on size.

As a rule, Series LER is mounted without play and the preload can be easily defined at the design stage.

LSA series

The LSA convinces with its smooth driving, extremely compact installation space, easy installation and its favorable price.

The thin layer consists of an inner and outer raceway with hardened and profiled raceways and a plastic cage with retained balls. The rolling elements rest against the raceways at two points each, maintaining the 4-point system. The tracks are split and therefore can be elastically changed in diameter for installation.
