Bearing units
Slewing bearing is a wire bearing that is fitted with an inner and outer ring. The advantage of this system is i.a. that the outer and inner ring can be made of materials other than steel – eg aluminum for light weight.
Due to the hydraulic working method, the ETP principle provides a number of important advantages for the customer: compact design, quick assembly, easy to position, good rotation, does not damage the contact surfaces and is easy to dismantle.
These qualities are important today and will become even more important in the future. Increased requirements for smaller installation dimensions, better rotation/balance at increased machine speeds, shorter downtime for service and increased precision means that more and more people are building in ETP hydraulic axle-hub connections.
The original
The original – a competitive connection for all normal needs. ETP-CLASSIC consists of a double-walled sleeve of hardened steel filled with a specially adapted pressure medium, sealing ring, piston, pressure ring and clamping screws.

High precision and frequent assembly. ETP-TECHNO is especially suitable for applications where quick frequent changes or adjustments with high precision are needed, can be assembled and disassembled 1000s of times.

Fast, compact attachment of small components. ETP-MINI is a good alternative to wedge joints or stop screws when a backlash-free joint with adjustment possibilities is desired. Typical areas of use are mounting hubs on small electric motors, stepper motors and encoders.

Fast assembly and high radial loads! With ETP-POWER, all the positive advantages and characteristics of hydraulic clamping are combined with high radial load capacity due to the specific characteristics of the pressure medium.

ETP-HYLOC is a hydromechanical hub-shaft coupling which, thanks to its robust design, is ideal for working in harsh environments and heavy operations such as steel rolling mills, process industries, etc. One interesting application, among many, has been the attachment of feed or form rolls to shafts.
